About Cleanmark

Cleanmark is made by the Cleanmark team. It is a focused image editing tool for people who have permission to repair a photo and need to remove a visible watermark or overlay.

What the tool does

You choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, paint over the area to repair, preview the result, and download a PNG. Processing happens in your browser. The image is not uploaded to an inference service.

Where it works best

The current repair method fills the selected area from nearby pixels. It works best on small marks over simple backgrounds. Faces, text, repeating patterns, and large selected areas may show visible artifacts.

Responsible use

Use Cleanmark only on images you own or have permission to edit. Removing attribution or ownership marks may violate a license or applicable law.
