## Does this image have the permission this task needs?

- [ ] I have selected the actual route: comp / purchased license / my own original.
- [ ] For a comp, I recorded the download date and the end of the allowed test/sample period. I am not treating preview access as a paid license or permission to publish. [Getty downloading FAQ](https://www.gettyimages.com/faq/downloading), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] For a purchased file, the licensee and asset match my records; the intended project and use fit the applicable license. [Getty licensing FAQ](https://www.gettyimages.com/faq/licensing), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] For my own photograph, I can establish that I hold the necessary rights and checked any contributor/exclusivity commitments; Getty's contributor FAQ says contributors retain copyright, not that every possible use is unrestricted. [Getty contributor FAQ](https://www.gettyimages.com/workwithus), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] I checked permitted edits, editorial status, credit/metadata duties and the restrictions on AI purposes and service reuse. A license purchase alone is not my editing checklist. [Getty content license agreement](https://www.gettyimages.com/eula), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] I have permission for the specific third-party processing and any public comparison illustration. If uncertain, I stop and obtain clarification; I do not infer permission from a successful upload.

## Before accepting or exporting a result

- [ ] I retained the untouched source and recorded its format and pixel dimensions.
- [ ] I recorded the exact tool, test date, method/mask, elapsed-time start/end definition, and any login/payment/format barrier.
- [ ] I saved the actual exported file rather than judging only a preview.
- [ ] I reopened the export and recorded its real format and pixel dimensions.
- [ ] I inspected the former mark at full size for readable remnants, seams, blur and broken detail.
- [ ] I checked useful detail outside the repair area, including text and subject edges.
- [ ] I recorded failed or unavailable results without replacing them with a provider's claims.
- [ ] Any public before/after graphic has its own publication clearance. A test comp is not automatically cleared for this.

## Uses this worksheet does not clear

- [ ] I will not publish a comp or put it in final material merely because the mark is gone. [Getty downloading FAQ](https://www.gettyimages.com/faq/downloading), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] I will not exceed the licensed use, claim another creator's work as mine, redistribute an asset as a standalone file, or disregard editorial and AI-use restrictions. [Getty content license agreement](https://www.gettyimages.com/eula), reviewed 26 October 2026.
- [ ] I will not submit an image to a service whose reuse rights conflict with the rights I hold.
- [ ] If a required check remains unresolved, I keep the item marked unresolved; I do not call the file authorized or the repair accepted.
