But what if it's the one that puts the Reddit logo watermark INSIDE the image itself, rather than slightly extending it down?
If the mark is printed inside the picture, use the brush path and select the mark yourself. Cleanmark's automatic edge test is for small, high-contrast marks touching a simple edge or corner. It does not promise to detect a mark in the middle of an image. Select the interior mark manually, inspect the repair, and keep the original.
Open the browser tool and paint the mark
The test uses a public-domain foliage photograph with an artificial TEST label. Use images you own or have permission to edit. The examples below are evidence of this run, not a guarantee for every logo, background, or source app.

What the test does and does not show
The unchanged Cleanmark homepage tool accepts one PNG, JPG/JPEG, or WebP image, keeps processing in the browser, and exports a PNG. Its Auto repair button only tries a small, high-contrast edge mark on a simple background. When that shape is not found, it reports that no pixels changed and points you to the brush. For an interior logo, start with the brush instead of expecting automatic detection.
In this run, the input and downloaded output were both 640 × 758 pixels. The output changed 16,167 pixels in the selected region, and the page reported no browser errors. Those measurements describe this artificial test mark; they do not reveal the original pixels hidden under a real watermark.
Which path should you use?
If the mark touches a plain outer edge, try Auto repair and inspect the preview. If it sits inside the picture, paint over it yourself and compare the result at normal size and zoom. If it crosses a face, leaf edge, gradient, or fine texture, expect a visible repair mark and consider keeping the original or cropping only when the frame can spare it.
Question answered
An in-image Reddit logo is not an automatic edge case. In this tool, it is a manual-brush case. The browser does not upload the image, and it does not run a generative reconstruction model.
